Additional Opportunities for Students:
1. Join the Baylor in Washington Student Advisory Committee
Our Student Advisors serve as the brain trust and guiding committee for Baylor in Washington. As week seek to improve and expand our programming for students, these program alumni are valuable thinking partners for our staff.
2. Participate in the Baylor American Experience for exchange students
The Baylor American Experience allows international exchange students to spend one semester on-campus in Waco, Texas taking course work and one semester in Washington, D.C. participating in the Washington Semester Program.
3. Spend a Summer in D.C through the Mayborn Scholarship
The Mayborn Scholarship offers a $2,000 stipend and 3 hours of course credit to selected students. If the Washington Semester Program does not work for you, consider spending a summer in D.C. with the help of this scholarship.
4. Independent Internship in D.C.
We have resources available for students looking to intern in D.C. outside of the Washington Semester Program and Summer Fellowship for Religion & Social Life. These databases will serve as a first option to investigate internship opportunities for you.
