Poverty in America: Is Progress Possible in our Polarized Times?
At a time when millions of Americans are dealing with poverty, hunger, and starvation, it is up to our policy makers to come together and find a solution.
On December 11th, Baylor in Washington, along with the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, the University of Dallas, and AEI’s Initiative on Faith & Public Life, brought in esteemed panelists to talk about this important issue. Robert Doar (AEI President), Thomas Hibbs (President of the University of Dallas), Heather Reynolds (Managing Director of the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunity at Notre Dame), and Jeremy Everett (Executive Director of the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty) all discussed the way forward in finding a solution to poverty in America.
